If boxing was still those 8 original divisions:
    What changes.
Do you feel the 'original 8' is better than the system we have now?

    Heavyweight
The top 2 won't change.. Wlad and of course Haye Maker.
The lower 25's might be severely effected with a bunch of the top CW'S being forced to move up.

    Light-Heavyweight:
    Massive change.
Ward-Froch-and a whole bunch of 168LBERS would have been forced to move up. Dawson would be at 175 fighting a lot of them along with Pascal/Cloud/Campillo.

    MW:
    I see some major changes.
A lot of the 154lbers like Trout might possibly have to move up. Canelo is gonna have to career as a MW from the very start.

    Welterweight:
Massive changes. This division will probably be impacted the most.
A lot of these guys from 140 would have to slug it out at 147. I don't see any one of them going down to LW. Khan,Lucas,Garcia would have all been fighting at 147. Some from 154 might drain themselves down, but doubtful. I see 154lbers going up to 160 instead.

    Light Weight:

    Featherweight:126 LB
Obviously some changes as well, Nonito would be fighting here for a while by now.

I would trade in a belt per division with more divisions rather than a few divisions with a lot of titleholders.

i feel it was easier to cheat with 8 divsions in the past...esp for guys trying to move up divisons to win titles..

guys at 126 usually walks around 140 anyways so wheter he was fighting a bigger guy or not , there was really no weight advatage for the bigger fighter instead more of a disadvantge to him becuase of the possiblity of weightdraining...

the past is really overrated as ****....
