he's been 3-4 pounds lighter than the 154 limit for his JMW fights, but he should fight Martinez at 160? lol. I agree he should fight Sergio but it should be at 154. Martinez himself isn't a big MW and shouldn't have any problems making 154.

Canelo DOES need to prove himself by beating legit 154lb quality opponents. YES he still is young and YES he is still improving. Even Canelo said that he is still improving. He probably should have taken another fight before May to continue gaining his experience but that is another matter.

Martinez. We don't know how he will recover from his injury. Maybe he will become less mobile. To know, we need to see how Martinez fights in his next fight.YES, Martinez is getting up there in age and every day that passes this needs to be questioned .... that is, will see the same Martinez in the ring? Since Floyd fights just once a year, he should have already gone after him this year instead of taking Cotto.
