    Is Seth Mitchell overrated?

I dont really keep up with todays heavyweights but I watched the last Seth Mitchell fight aswell as some other clips of him online and to me it just seems like hes being hyped up by HBO boxing because of his background and maybe marketability because of that. Before he stepped in the ring with Johnathan Banks i thought he would lose based on his inexperience compared to Banks and he did. what are other peoples opinions on him?

Not by anyone on here. I like him though. He goes out looking to ktfo his opponents regardless of whether he has just been dropped heavily.

No he isn't. No one thinks he's on the Klits level. He made a mistake and Banks capitalized on it.

No heavyweight on this site is overrated. If they aren't the Klitschkos, heavyweights get no hype. The Klitschkos themselves are perfectly rated.

Mitchell falls in the "no one cares," category.

How was HBO supposed to know he had a weak chin? lol These things happen. Considering he joined boxing late, he's done pretty good. He has good KO power, but I don't think he will hold up against the top HW's now.

I dont think hes over rated personally. He gets decent attention, but not from people thinking hes the greatest ever or anything, just hope as a prospect.

                  I support the dude.

I support Seth as well. He's a likeable guy - down-to-earth, humble and his fights are entertaining. He's a big puncher but he hasn't mastered the fundamentals yet.

I hope he irons out his flaws in the gym and beats Banks the second time around...
