Very good step up from his most recent opposition.

The kind of fight that usually gets Tony up... unlike when he draws a Klistchko.

This could be a very interesting fight, Thompson knows how to box and is Price's best oppoent so far. He might even win it by some chance.

How is this great? tony thompson is 41 years old, coming off a loss, the guy is shot and will get KO within 5 rounds

Why doesnt Price fight someone who is under 40 and on a winning streak? this will be the 3rd over 40 he has fought in a row

Price won't be ready for Wlad in 5 fights time, even if the current trend of progression continues. After Thompson he should target another decent contend er then try and get involved with all these pre-lims that's happening. The loser of Arreola/Stiverne would be a good opponent, B.Ware already has history with Price.

Price is a waste of talent. He is fighting another shot tomatoe can. Thomson showed whst he will do his last fight.

This guy is truly a baby.

Step up Price!!! Horrible career trajectory.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing price go the EBU direction. All talks are of world title fights because the klitsckhos have a hard time finding solid opponents. Look at what happened to someone like Dereck Chisora. Price needs to follow his own path so he won't end up as just being another name on the klit resume. This is not as bad a fight as you guys make it out to be. Remember it was only his last fight that Wladimir declared him to be a "very tough opponent" that will come to win and bla bla. If Price KOs him in less than 6 people will take notice and realize he's something to look at. Afterwards the loser of Stiverne/arreola or Chisora would be a good step up.
