This fight sounds interesting . Losers career could potentialy be on the line. Ortiz wins by k.o and he's back in the mix against danny garcia if he beats zab. Or kahn proves his defense is better and cant be ko'ed by big punchers

Discussing potential aside, since it's really getting past that point in his career, I think he'll be a tough challenge for the guys at 147. I don't see him becoming a dominating fighter at 147. Physically he's built for dominance but I've never seen him fight smart or fight to any of his advantages what ever they are.

He reminds me of a baseball player who hits a lot of home runs but strikes out a lot.

He'll probably never be the number one guy I support but he's always fun and entertaining so I'll always tune in.

The very mention of Khan alongside Ortiz and everyone was extremely positive so to answer your question, yes.

            Yep.

Very exciting fighter for reasons similiar to Khan as in fan friendly styles and you just don't know what's gonna happen next with him.

I think a matchup with Khan would be huge(as long as neither suffer any more setbacks till they meet) and would most certainly capture the publics imagination. A 2 part 24/7 series which could include stuff about their previous meeting in the amateurs and all in all base it around on how many striking similarities both these exciting fighters have had in their short careers so far.

Ortiz - Khan would be a great fight and one i most certainly would look forward to in 2013. Hope it happens.

We've seen the best of both of these dudes. They are not very good and it's hard to see them struggling in their boxing career. But, I am sure they made great money and hopefully they have secured their futures.
I hope your right ......for their sake.......

He's the new Gatti... He's that guy u wanna watch his fights cause u can count on them to be exciting, but u don't always expect, nor care if he wins or not

He'll never beat an elite fighter, but u still pay to see him fight them

Funny, he goes from De La Hoya status to Gatti status

no way gatti was a lot tougher when i think ortiz i think when he gave up on the stool against maidana that was embarrassing i lost interest in him right then. I do have to give him some credit though for fighting with his jaw broke in two spots against lopez but aside from that i dont care for him

Sure I care. "The Tree" is never in a boring fight. I think he has a good chance of stopping Khan honestly.
