Was that the Best 6 Rounds PAC looked vs Marquez?

marquez knew that punch would be there for him eventually. it was like a mouse nipping at a mousetrap. it was a matter of time pac would get caught.
for those who say marquez "let" him look good, thats complete BS.... so marquez "let" himself get lumped up and bloodied? pac fought a bit wild and emotional indeed, but he was tagging marquez pretty frequently. he DID look good. period.
pac tried to please the crowd when he couldve let the time run out in the sixth instead... but hey, thats how boxing is. let the guy off the hook & get booed. or take a risk, get caught, and still get criticized.
im actually surprised at the overall amount of respect he got after the KO... aside from the few OVERLY biased "fans", i think most of us appreciated the effort.
hopefully this filters out the pac "fans"... but they most likely will jump on donaire....Comment

Not really, marquez looked slow, which is why he should retire, in fact, both slowed down due to the extra weight.
Everyone who saw the fight saw pac pretty much beating him up and busting him open. Pac would have most likely knocked him out in 2-3 rounds later but we also saw marquez preparing to land big on him, he did and won.
I would favour pac winning in a rematch though, everyone can get hit cold and greater fighters in the past have, then they had a rematch and won easily, same applies here if it were to happenComment

Uh? you scored the 3rd for Manny in spite of a KD?, or you mean to say that until the moment he got K.O. he was winning the 6th?.
In any case, Manny did not look that good to me. He is slower of hand and foot, has less stamina, less legs. Which is only normal, he is aging.
Many will disagree, but also Marquez did not look -that- good IMO.
He still has his skills, no doubt, nonetheless he showed signs of decline in certain moments of the fight, especially his legs and reflexes seem deteriorated. I am not sure about his stamina either, but the condition of his nose made it hard to evaluate.Comment

He was winning the sixth before he got KO'd. I agree with both of those statements though. I think Manny looked BETTER than in his previous two outings but you're right. As for Marquez you nailed it.Uh? you scored the 3rd for Manny in spite of a KD?, or you mean to say that until the moment he got K.O. he was winning the 6th?.

Spot on,people seem to be ignoring this
He came out aggressive and played in to Marquez's hands
I wonder is that the only plan Roach and his team could come up with?
They had said in the 3rd fight they tried to box instead of looking for the ko
If so,they really are limitedComment

Everyone seems to forget he was knocked down prior. Good thing you actually watched the fight.
He had his moments and Marquez his. Marquez finished, and took Pac out... how many more threads of this do we need? Why not talk about actual upcoming matches? How about ones that took place over the weekend? Why is there some huge need for 1000 threads saying "Manny looked so good though!" or "JMM must have cheated"

Also, I've never been a manny hater, and I've rooted for him many times. But his fans have turned me off. I think Lampley referred to them as "irrational" during fight 3 with jmm. So true. I'm totally becoming a manny hater because of his lovers.
Let it go guys. He lost. Lost. It doesn't matter if he was winning, or looked good before he got ktfo. Their is no such thing as almost won, or winning. Losing is losing. And he lost in the most definitive and dramatic way.
It's over guys. Move on.Comment

He was moving his head and thinking about his work a lot better than he has for a while, and despite the first knock down was winning the fight. However, the problem of not correcting flaws and stopping bad habits as quickly as possible is that eventually those bad habits become second nature. Pac has had a habit of lunging in when he attacks trying to force the issue instead thinking, and creating openings, and even though it was clear Pac had worked hard to try and correct these flaws they were too engrained to be irradicated.Comment
