Why not try a bit of sparring in a real gym with a pro before you decide?
It would be a terrible time to find out you got no beard, or stamina issues, or not as powerful as you think you are, in the middle of a fight againt someone who trains day in day out to bust peoples heads in

Boxers wrestled a ton back in the day to help get in shape for the ring. Wrestling was also the biggest sport in the world before boxing.

Bernard Hopkins came from a jail cell. His history is rich there isn't it? Great fighter, dumb lines.

I plan to stick to a schedule like that once i get over a recurring injury, hope i can stick to it but i know it's gonna be hard.

And thx bro i appreciate your comment i can give u a few tips if u wish... for example one that has worked wonders for me ( as you can imagine i take some supplements ) is that i put my No2 ( labrada supercharge or superpump or jack3d or whatever u like ) right next to my night table so when i wake up at around 5:30 instead of having a glass of water next to my bed i have the no2 and have a sip of it and inmediately i feel the neccesity of gettin out of bed and go running, it just doesnt feel right to drink that and then go back to sleep ahahha

i havent read what other people are saying to you but speaking from experience you need to get a job you arent going to make money for college boxing you need an amatuer background to really do anything significant pro i box now amatuer and did in college it was a lot to do working and classes and just cause you knocked your friend out in a back yard match doesnt mean **** when you get in a real ring ive seen plenty of dudes walk into the gym thinking they can box cause they get in street fights and just leave the first time they spar cause they cant take getting hit like that. basically what im saying if you wanna box do it cause you enjoy it first as an amatuer then think about a career if you stick with it and do well. who knows you could go far if you commit yourself to it but dont do it as a means of income for college its not the male equivilent of stripping

Hey y'all, Skittlez here. I'm a 2nd year college student and my mom is forcing me to get a part time job because she's sick of sending me 500 bucks a week as spending money.

Anyways, I see a lot of journeymen and like gatekeepers only box part time and is basically record padders. They still get paid like 500 bucks a pop.

I figure I can pretty much learn as I go and who knows maybe I can pick up a few belts by the time I enter Grad school.

I'm 6'1 and walk around at 200. I am going to cut down to like 154 if I can and fight in the JMW Division. I feel like with my freakish strength and endurance, I don't really need much boxing skills.

                  Anyways any advice?
                  Tips?
How far do you guys think I can go?
Just don't do any sparring with Tiger Mohammed. Actually the way I hear it is whenever he knocks out someone from your gym you automatically get knocked out to

i think you'll be up there with tiger muhammad. Remember, practice is for gheys...if you already have freakish endurance you dont have to do roadwork...just hit the heavybag for 20 mins on days before ur fights and you should be knockin fools out. I retired from boxing undefeated at the age of 20, with a 100% ko ratio.... HBO refused to televise my fights because they were too brutal...so i called it quits.. good luck, you sound like me when i first started out

Just did 4 rounds of sparring with a Frat Boy from another school. He was around 5'11 and weight 170. So I outweight him by 30 pounds.

I basically dominated the first 2 rounds via multiple combinations to the body and head. He went down 5 times. But I started getting tired in Round 3 and by Round 4 I was completely gassed. He was actually growing stronger towards the end and I was holding on for dear life.
