Here's the difference between Memo and Conte:

Memo is actually a chemist, nutritionist, and strength/conditioning coach. He would actually give or make the drugs to his clients depending on how much money the client would give him. If the client didn't have much money, Memo would purchase drugs off the street, if the client had money, he would make designer drugs based on the athlete themself. In a 2008 interview with German magazine Spiegel, Memo admitted that he could make 20 types of designer drugs that still would be undetectable by testers at the time.

Conte, on the other hand, was only a salesman/distributor and nutritionist. He worked with chemist Patrick Arnold to get the designer drugs.

According to Conte, Andre Ward hasn't worked with him since 2009 and Berto didn't ask for Conte's assistance for the 2nd Ortiz fight when he tested positive by VADA last year.
