how do you see it playing out?

stylewise , nonito seems like a badstyle match up for mares..but so was moreno before he got outworked by mares..

i still see nonito winning by ko in the later rounds but with the way mares outsmarting the supposed smarter fighter , i dont see this as an easy win for nonito..

i seriously see mares making it a rough fight,with lots of clinching , using his head and tying nonito up while throwing lots of punches thus having some success on the inside and winning some rounds .. was mares succesful of doing what he did to moreno becuase he was'nt a puncher? i do beleive it thats the case too but it was'nt all of it

i really see a similar strategy from mares but will he be able to withsnatd the power of nonito.. altho i belive mares has a lil bit of shaky chin , i think it can happen ..remeber , it worked for concepcion to why he survived the fight and it's obvious mares is way better..

I think the same..mares looks easy to beat in my eyes but somehow he keep winning against good opponents soo I don't know..when It comez to mares I pass..

The fight was at junior bantam, Concepcion failed to even make bantam. By contrast, Mares is smallish at 122.

yes, he was 5 lbs over the weight limit in the offical weigh in if i remeber correctly but i dont think it was the whole reason he survived.. i think it was the fact that he was able to absorb all of nonitos punches that really affected nonito's showing...

Mares makes it a rough and ugly fight, Donaire lands clean shots to keep him cautious, Mares changes his gameplan and decides to box and loses by dec. Donaire has this if he can keep Mares on the outside.
