Donaire vs. Rigondeaux results poll

Boring uneventful decision for either man or Donaire by KO in an otherwise boring fight.
If it goes to the cards, Rigo will have the advantage because he has zero qualms with making it a boring fight as long as he wins while Donaire is more likely to leave himself exposed trying to make the fight watchable. In a way, Donaire is at an unfair disadvantage taking this fight until Rigo proves he isn't a boring ass fighter that doesn't give a fuck about the fans watching.Last edited by BlueBettle; 12-16-2012, 11:12 PM.Comment

My heart goes for Rigo, but logic points at Donaire. He's too big for Rigo and I see the fight ending in a TKO for Donaire.Comment

Rigondeaux has to be one of the top 5 forum boners ever... I really don't get it.

Nonito is listed on Boxrec as 5' 5 1/2"; Rigo is listed at 5' 4 1/2". They're both tiny guys, with only an inch height differential. For whatever it's worth, Guille is hard as a rock at 122, while Donaire looks a little soft. Calling Rigodeaux "little" implies Nonito is significantly bigger. He isn't.Comment

I don't know who wins this fight. I'm glad no one has a gun to my head; it's a tough prediction to make. I give Donaire the edge. I think if Rigo is to win, he has to score a KO. I can't see Nonito losing a decision. I think if anyone is going to lead, it's gonna be Donaire. That would probably lead to won rounds, but it might open him up to a devastating counter-hook. If it ever comes to pass, this fight is going to be interesting. I have a feeling it won't be boring, as many think.
The winner gets major props in my book. But Rigo stands to gain more with a win. Nonito stands to lose much more with a loss.Comment
