There is no "proper" way to wrap your hands, everyone has a different preference. IMO fighters who wrap their hands know which way feels best

First Andre Ward messes up his left hand against Froch and then last night Amir Khan fractures BOTH of his hands. Is this just coincidence or is it something that perhaps needs to be looked into and corrected?

I saw him wrap his peoples christmas gifts last year. He's a bad wrapper!

There are definitely wrong ways to wrap. The protection of the hands has to be the first priority over comfort. Although of course you want a mix of both if you can get it.

What you have to realize is no matter how you wrapped them it depends on how the gloves fit and how they protect your hands. Reyes gloves are hard on the hands. So it doesn't matter who wraps your hands sometimes.

I understand why they would wrap their own hands. I cannot stand when someone else wraps my hands.

They always seem to put too much gauze underneath in the palm area and make it so that you can't make a complete fist. Doesn't matter who wraps them, always the same thing. Also, they'll make it too tight and cut off circulation.

Nothing wrong with wrapping your own hands, if you do it properly.
