i know, thats how come i stated above that i would like him to take an easy tuneup.

let him take a fight where theres less pressure to see him work on his skills. his anxious glancing blows and dropping his left and ****ing his right was still there in hopII.

solimans pitter patter puppetiering style would give taylor a break to work on skills.maybe he should make changes to his team before a winky fight.

Taylor can only be truly great by beating Maselino Masoe. Then he will truly unify all the Middle Weight titles and become truly legendary. But I think not!! Masoe will KO Taylor in ten, thne everyone will be talking about Maselino Masoe as the best ever.

I really hope so, because no article, postive or negative, is going to change my opinion of the current middleweight champion until he fights like a champion. He hasn't earned any pity passes with two close decisions, as would be the case with any fighter. He can have a "tune-up" fight if he wants, but get a move on it, i don't want to see any stalling if thats what the Taylor camp wants to do. Get things in motion already.

Also, If the reason to support Taylor is all about bringing in new fans to the sport, then i'm against it even more because that's not being done the right way. Better a new fan is brought in because of a true attraction and a fighter that's really lighting a spark in the sport (i.e. a Jeff Lacy, etc.), not a guy that barely slid past Hopkins twice.

Man you must be related to that guy...I just check BoxRec and for some reason he appears as an inactive fighter, he last fight was on 05/01/2004 for the VACANT WBA title against Evans Ashira(?), Masoe has 28 pro fights and in his 27th he fought a guy with a record of 0-2-0...

I was a big fan of him, when he fought Joppy, I was like ahh he ain't as good as I thought he was, then when he fought Edouard, I wasn't even a fan at all...He looked terrible in his last fight before Nard..

Agree that Hops can make anyone look bad, but you can't credit Hops for Taylor's big barn door right hands looping from one side of the ring to the other, that's just Taylor doing his thing.

That's right Taylor is getting unwarranted criticism but that's only from people who refuse to accept the fact the B-hop's era is over.

Those who are arguing about Taylor making an impressive win over B-hops, you've got your answer. Nobody in the last 12 years have ever been impressive against the smart and sleek ex-champ.

First of I hope thats a joke. Masoe holds the fake WBA belt, Taylor has the real one. Taylor = SUPER WBA World Champ, Masoe = REGULAR WBA World Champ. Anyhow most of the criticism comes from two people. People who feel Hopkins won, and people who want him to fight Winky. If Taylor beats Winky then there will be no debate. Plus I think you guys will learn when Hop fights Roy that Hopkins isnt as faded as you guys think. He would have been countered had he thrown combos same as Taylor. Taylor went more counter punching in those fights then usual, instead of his more agressive style. Anyhow Taylor doesn't deserve the criticism, its not like we've seen him at the upper level of boxing for more than 2 fights. Give him time and I believe he'll prove that he deserves the respect he was given.
