Comments Thread For: Mariana Juarez Wins Decision Over Tenkai Tsunami

Former champion Mariana Juarez (36-6-3, 16KOs) returned to the ring with a ten round unanimous decision over Japanese opponent Tenkai Tsunami (18-6, 7KOs) at the Arena Coliseo in Guadalajara, where thousands of people gave their love the popular "La Barbie." The event was presented by Golden Boy Promotions, Canelo Promotions, Televisa, FOX SPORTS, Grupo Modelo and AKRON. Juarez dominated the action from start to finish. During the fifth and sixth rounds, Tsunami's legs began to wobble but she stayed on her feet. After eight rounds the WBC's open scoring showed Juarez was up 80-72. Juarez tried to finish her opponent off in the final round, but wasn't able to do it.

A good boxer , not awesome, as she has 2 many defests, especially defense, but good win vs a boxer soundky beaten @ 1118 her last bout 4 wba title...no more Ana Knight 4 Barbie, who will easily xpose the amateurish Z. Munoz when she challenges...her BIG problem is next year when AM Torres returns, NO chance vs the BEST P4P FEMALE...
