Same old Khan. Many times I thought he was about to get KO'd.

He finishes a combo and leaves both his hands down and just stares at his opponent. Someone with harder hands will punish him again for doing this. I havent seen any changes yet in Khan

I still don't really think that Khan's chin is as big a problem as the way he gets hit ALL THE TIME. Guys with anything less than a truly exceptional chin will get hurt by the sort of shots Maidana, Prescott and Garcia were able to hit him with.

We learnt nothing more about Amir Khan last night. Molina didn't have the quality to test him.

          Khan

A few observations from a Cuban perspective: Khan showed improvement, but has a long way to go. Every time he jabs, he lowers his right hand down to his waist. If this is not fixed, then Khan will be repeatedly KO'ed when he boxes more skilled fighters. Also, Khan continues to chicken wing. He needs to bring his elbows in... I wouldn't get overly excited about Khan until his coach is able to correct these very basic flaws that the Wild Card Gym allowed him to compete with.

Good come back fight for Khan. He looked good but I still thought he got hit to much last night in the head in this fight. Another boxer with some punching power would have wobbled him with those shots that Molina was able to land last night. I feel like he still needs to improve on his defense but over all it was great to see him in the ring again. Now on the mic and outside the ring is a different story Khan needs to keep his mouth shut.

Khan did look somewhat the same sure, but the improvements were evident. Yes he is going to get hit, like all fighters do. He showed more patience, improved defense and infighting ability as well. Many occasions he had his right glove up to block the left hook. He still has a ways to go but he is on the right track. This shows exactly what I have been saying about Roach, overwhelming offense is all he teaches, period. In one fight, Khan already showed improvements, in what, 8 weeks? Face it Roach worshippers, he is a completely limited/one dimensional trainer.

Yeah, I'd be hyped up for the press conference to see what Garcia and his pop are going to do if the rematch is made.

Khan's inside game has already improved, did you not see the uppercuts and hooks he was throwing on the inside? Before he would just freeze and take punishment. I don't think I've ever seen him throw an uppercut on the inside.

But yes he's still open a lot of times, but this is after 8 weeks....it's going in the right direction. He still has a fantastic jab and that should become his biggest weapon, not throwing flashy flurries.

The feel I get when watching Khan is that he's still a raw talent that needs refining. It's difficult to assess improvement from last night's performance since Molina isn't the type of opponent that would force Khan off his "game plan." But yeah, it was nice to see him engage in some in-fighting; normally he'd cover up then get off the ropes or just run when someone tried to work inside. I also felt he could've stopped Molina had he worked the body more.
