Exactly. I'd like to see him follow the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. path and have 40 or so fights before stepping up to elite competition.

He needs a good trainer to really polish him up. I wish Eddie Futch was still alive.

Wilder could literally be 40-0 with 40 KOs, if they bring him up right.

Wilder coming along just fine. DON'T RUSH HIM. George Foreman had 37 fights before Frazier. This kid needs similar. Maybe 45. Nice tools...huge work in progress still.

Maybe, he wasn't the best on the Olympic team and probably needs more time to fit into the pros.... but his opposition is just horrible.
Like his last fight was against an overweight cruiser who hadn't fought in years.
Then I saw a fight were he fought somebody who was as wide as he was tall.
It's good that they're not prolonging this and having a lot of fights every year though... i'll give them that.
