That's the only fight Roy wanted at HW. He said he'd stay for a Tyson fight.
Roy would have definitely won IMO. That was peak Roy, coming off the greatest feat of his career. While Tyson had seen better days, although he was coming off a TKO win the month prior. It would have been a huge fight, with Roy definitely being the favorite to win.
Roy by UD. I would have loved to see Tyson on pre-shot Roy's resume.Comment

Really couldn't pick against Roy.
He was still looking like the man, looked great against Ruiz and Tyson was a shadow of himself. Obviously one punch can change all of that, but I have doubts about that version of Tyson landing those shots on Roy.

i think tyson wouldve put him in a body bag... you dont go into a fight with an atg talent like roy without training hard. but of course, roy could have definitely out quicked him.

Roy is to small for Tyson even in 2003, a washed up Tyson KO's Roy within 3 rds. Roy didnt have the reach or jab to keep Tyson off him, Tyson would walk right in and break his ribs..Comment
