Fight cancellations is what I want to talk about.

I can't help but vividly remember how Vitali cancelled his fight with Rahman FOUR TIMES in 10 months. To me that is a bit excessive. Yes I know Vitali was injured (although being injured 4 times in 10 months is pretty unique in itself)

but I just feel like if you gonna dangle hope in front of another fighter four times in a row.. that's a bit messed up. By his 2nd injury he should have just told Rahman, 'find another opponent' he shouldn't have kept promising to 'fight again' when he gets better.

The worst thing is Vitali never got better ,he simply retired and Rahman's career was heavily effected by this, you can't get another fighter pumped up and excited to fight you 4x times in a row, than keep backing out.

Either 1-Fight him or 2- If you really is going to retire, don't keep giving false hope.

Ya, 4 times in 10 months is excessive and a bit weird.

Nah. Rahman should have figured it out himself, he would never get a fight, so move on.,

No doubt. He's a demon at beating up Chris Arreloa and what's that other guy's name? Manure Charr?

I respect Vitali and rate him as a top 15 Boss.

I can guarantee if this happened today 'nsb' will have a hundred different theories and a lot of rage/*****in .

          Example:

Imagine beginning of 2013 .. Floyd Mayweather promises a fight to say Austin Trout. Just random example.

Floyd Pulls out due to injury: 4/5
Promises to fight Trout when he recover.
          He's recovered.. Let's fight 6/7

          Cancels 6/7.
Promises to fight Trout when he recover.

          Recovers
          Let's fight 9/5

          Cancels fight 9/5
Promises to fight Trout when he recovers

          Recovers
          Let's fight 12/15

          Cancels fight.. retires.

Imagine the rage on NSB, imagine the crying.. Now do Floyd have the right to 'retire' of course. But he shouldn't have wasted an entire year of Trout's and shouldn't have kept promising..
          Same with Vitali and Rahman

It's old news but yeah it probably wasn't right of him to not grant him a fight. Regardless, Wladimir did and you saw what happened there.

That's bullshyt. Rahman was effectively shot after Vitali cheated him four times.

That's like a cute girl in college rubbing your *** and getting you super hard, letting you put the tip of your penis near her vagina, than jumps up and say
PUNK'ED GOTTA GO CUTEY SEE YA TOMMOROW IN BIO LECTURE.

Now imagine she does this four times in a week.. Than she transfers to another school. The day after, another girl do the same thing,, you are gonna be tenative and unsure of yourself from being punked four times in a row..

Vitali was finally healthy to come back in 2008, the same year Wlad put a hurting on Rahman. According to your logic, there would be no way he would have been able to give Rahman a fight in his prime because he was past it by the time Vitali came back. So what's your point? That Vitali should have known that he wouldn't have been able to be healthy for the fights that he cancelled? I doubt he would have made the fights if he knew he couldn't compete in them. Do you blame Kelly Pavlik for pulling out of the fights with Paul Williams after getting a staph infection? I for one don't.
