Fight cancellations is what I want to talk about.
I can't help but vividly remember how Vitali cancelled his fight with Rahman FOUR TIMES in 10 months. To me that is a bit excessive. Yes I know Vitali was injured (although being injured 4 times in 10 months is pretty unique in itself)
but I just feel like if you gonna dangle hope in front of another fighter four times in a row.. that's a bit messed up. By his 2nd injury he should have just told Rahman, 'find another opponent' he shouldn't have kept promising to 'fight again' when he gets better.
The worst thing is Vitali never got better ,he simply retired and Rahman's career was heavily effected by this, you can't get another fighter pumped up and excited to fight you 4x times in a row, than keep backing out.
Either 1-Fight him or 2- If you really is going to retire, don't keep giving false hope.
