          Deontay Wilder is no joke, he's actually very talented.

          His management has been over-protective and too cheap to put him in with better quality journeymen. Most of his opponents are chosen a week or so befoire the fight.

          Denis Boytsov, Oleg Platov, Ondrej Pala and several other decent young heavyweights have suffered from (and even been ruined by) similar ****ty management (it's not their fault, really. Some of those guys didn't know what they were getting into).

          But Deontay will finally be in with a decent opponent tonight. I hope he faces similar opposition in 2013 (no more low-cost, old former middleweights).

            The knockdown wasn't called because there was no knockdown. Deontay just has no sense of footwork. The position his body was in when he ducked the overhand made him fall back into the ropes. Anybody with the ability to pause the video can see that Nichols doesn't getting anywhere near landing that punch.
