Victor Ortiz' career is actually sad he was destined for greatness he had physical attributes that Mexican fighters would kill for but he was missing one key factor the Mexican fighting heart, that extra gear that a Mexican fighters have when things aren't going their way they can still pull through and get the Victory.
Completely limited in skill, and talent, but that one attribute that you describe as missing in Ortiz is dialed up to the max in Rios and has made him a (small) star.
It is one fight that has to, absolutely has to be made one day.Comment

What really pisses me off about Rios is that he doesnt take his craft serious imagine if he had the dedication of Marquez? staying fit all year round..but no he rather be a fatass that thinks hes going to knock out everyone if Abril wasn't a wake up call nothing will be.Comment

True Ww is weak as hell right now basically 140lbs are running the show, but realize Ortiz is old for his age in ring years. He got smashed by maidana, mayweather, and freakin josesito lopez. Hes got to be mentally ruined by now. he also cannot stop right hands from hitting him!Comment

Funny that you say that, as when you examine Rios, you can see that he's the complete opposite.

And I like the Cotto-Ortiz idea, that's a very interesting fightComment
