It doesn't really matter, Alvarez is a million times better than ortiz
Alvarez and Ortiz About the Same Size?

They're the same height and come in at the same weight on fight night, but I think Canelo is actually bigger if that makes any sense.
For example, in November 2006 against Morales, Pacquiao weighed 129 at the weigh in and 144lbs on fight night[15lbs added].
Same year, in the same month[November], Floyd fought Baldomir at 147. Floyd weighed in 149lbs on fight night[2lbs added].
So Pacquiao and Floyd were supposedly 4 weight classes apart, yet only 5lbs apart on fight night. And let's face it, 5lbs apart on fight night is not that big of an advantage. So can you really say that in 2006, Floyd and Manny were the same size?Comment

He also faced a significant weight disadvantage.
Ortiz, who was making the first defense of the belt he won via decision in a fight of the year candidate with Andre Berto in April, stepped onto the unofficial HBO fight-night scale at 164 pounds. Mayweather was 150 pounds.
Mayweather is not that big. Nor has he ever been known as one of those fighters who bloats up like 8 pounds after the official weigh in.Comment

That's right. Ortiz was 164 for Floyd and I saw no extra weight on him. He looked lean. Canelo weights about 165 when he comes in the ring and he looks trim but not the least bit drained. Canelo is perfect for 154 but Ortiz must have to lose lots of water weight to make 147.Comment

Actually, Alvarez weighed 167 pounds on fight night. The difference here is the water weight, Alvarez has a stronger more muscular frame in general.Comment
