Is Morales' mindset the same it was for 3rd Barrera fight?

Reading that Morales is most likely going to be using Reyes gloves and I hear KO Manny, perhaps he's coming in with a similar mindset that he on 3rd Barrera fight? Do you think him trying to go only for the knockout is going to mess him up as it did when he fought Barrera? Also...do you think the long the fight goes into the later rounds, the more of a chance that Morales' hands are going to hurt using the Reyes, and thus, he won't perform as good as usual? I'm just trying to take Morales' take on the situation of what might play out with him. Either way, I see them both bombing at each other to get one another out of there. It's gonna be great!

Yeah he tricked me into thinking he would KO Barrera. But Pacquiao was partly to blame for that since he absolutely destroyed Barrera.

i reckon morales is going into this fight 100% focused. i think hes mindset is the same as it was after he lost to barrera in their 3rd fight. he has lost his last fight, similar when he lost to barrera and now he has something to prove again and show he has not lost it as a fighter.

also morales wearing reyes gloves can actually help him, i know he prefers winning gloves, but when he fought barrera in their first and second fight, he put on great performances and hurt barrera a lot. in his second fight against barrera he fought really well, could probably have got the decision and he was wearing reyes gloves that night.

I think because of the fact that Morales already beat Pac he will be more willingly to take chances. His jab is his safety cushion as Pac has a hard time getting around it. I think Morales stops Pac this time.

I doubt either guy gets stopped......Morales wins by UD again in a entertaining fan friendly fight.

Hopefully Morales doesnt injure his hands in the second round like he did against Jesus Chavez.

I've never heard that before. All I remember from that fight was Chavez being forced to fight 9 rounds with one hand (not even his right hand) and still gave Morales hell, although he didn't win a damn round beyond the first.

We'll Erik said that right after the Chavez fight during the interview.

In the first fight, Morales out-connected Pac. This will happen again, except now we'll have the puncher's mitts. This will take a greater toll on Pac than Pac's Reyes' will on Morales' granite chin.

Morales in a convincing UD with Pac bledding badly from 6th round on.
