    Trainer Tommy Brooks and Wladimir

If I remember correctly Brooks trained Wlad during his fight with Mercer but then Wlad went back to Szdunek. Anyone know the story behind why Wlad did this? I thought Wlad looked great in his fight against Mercer.

it wasnt one his greatest fights, he took a lot of jabs from mercer and his face was puffy and scared up like never maybe thats why they had problems...

Well if you fight Mercer you better be prepared to take jabs. Mercer for all his inconsistencies has one of the best jabs in boxing. There is no way you can fight him and not expect to get peppered with a few here and there.

Wlad took some big shots from Mercer and was not fazed that is why I do not believe his chin is as bad as people make it out to be. His biggest problem after the Sanders fight is he gets all worked up when he gets hit and that takes away alot from a fighters stamina.
