Steve Collins coming out of retirement

So, Roy doesn't seem to like Collins calling him a coward and says that he'll fight him! Steve apparently is willing to come out of retirement for this!

    they better not fight.

Collins will get wrecked worse than if they fought in their primes.

Prime for prime Jones would have won a lopsided fight maybe 117-111. But no way in hell would Roy KO Steve, one of the ATG chins in boxing, Nigel Benn couldn't phase him neither would Roy.

But he's been retired since 1997 of course he would be beaten soundly

wrecked, to me, doesn't necessarily mean knocked out. but i think Jones beats him easily. Then and now.

Wont happen. Steve tried to make a comeback many years ago but couldnt on medical advice because he was collapsing in training. Another decade on I doubt his health would have improved and he probably wouldnt get licensed to. In all honesty Jones probably shouldnt be licensed either.

Wrecked = violent and destructive crash, injury! So I assumed he meant KO or TKO. But I agree Collins would have lost a lopsided decision back then, but I think he was such an awkward fighter that he would have some moments!

Now, well obviously I would expect him to be brutalised over however many rounds it lasts as he's been retired for over 15 years! But I would expect doctor or ref stoppage, his chin still holds up, just ask numerous bouncers around Dublin!lol
