Comments Thread For: Alexander-Brook is Moving To February 23 or March 2

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has advised BoxingScene.com that Devon Alexander (24-1, 13KOs) will defend his IBF welterweight title against mandatory challenger Kell Brook (29-0, 19KOs) on either February 24th or March 2nd.

The fight was scheduled to take place on January 19th as part of a Showtime televised tripleheader from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Brook suffered an ankle injury in training and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, requested a postponement of 3-4 weeks.

Cant wait to see how Aydin looks against Karass. Should give us some answers on who the truth is in the welterweight division. I got Aydin by KO.

Glad this was moved from 1/19. Made no sense being up against a far bigger and better event in NY on that day.

Card is starting to really come together.

Hope Alexander doesn't make the fight utter shit again and makes the American audience boo him.

He's not fighting Randall Bailey so I expect him to put on a better performance.
