I still remember the Xzibit video with B-Hop in it where this dude is acting a fool then pushes into B-Hop he turns around mugs the dude as he walks off easy. It seemed real believable like B-Hop did it before.

I believe it was for the song "Mean Muggin'"

Yeah, he's the managing partner of Golden Boy East. So guys like Garcia, Malignaggi, Quillin, etc. are his guys. I think that's how their set up.

he's still young enough to be able to get the job done
            he's got the street cred
he gets the admiration due to a great fighter
and he's got plenty of money, reminding them of how much money is on the line. you gotta get the fight hyped up, but you need to keep it toned down so you can fight in the ring and get that paycheck. that's where bernard hopkins comes in.
B-hop could literally change the 'he's' to 'I'm' and stick this on his job application.

Not just that but even at his age Bernard would lay a serious beat down on each...

like ppl said hopkins has been involved with garcias career and garcia has a great amount of respect for him. hopkins and judah go way back too, i remember judah walking out with hopkins for one of his MW title defenses. he too has tremendous respect for hopkins.

like ppl say he isnt the kind of man you want to mess around with, putting on a show for the cameras is one thing but hopkins will pop your ass right there if he feels like it. more importantly these younger guys seem to really care about what hopkins thinks of them, bcuz of his status withing GBP and his place in boxing history.

i remember at the dlh/mayorga press conferences, hopkins sat in dlh's seat right next to the podium and oscar sat one seat over. it was like he was oscar's bodyguard.
