Would fans be interested in a Marquez vs. Cotto fight?

I know the fight has been discussed before as a fantasy fight but I want to know if there is any genuine interest in it. I don't think Cotto deserves such a fight right now but money talks and if JMM does not have a 5th fight against Pacquiao, maybe a Cotto fight could be lucrative enough to interest him.

I am not interested in debates about whether or not Cotto is shot. The guy is past his prime and, possibly, going through one of the lowest points in his career but that does not mean that, as a boxing fan, I can not think that a fight between these two could be interesting. Would you be interested in such a fight? If not, why?

Cotto is too big, JMM hasn't got the style to beat much bigger guys like Pacquiao had. It was Pacquiao's speed and workrate that beat them, JMM hasn't got either.

Not at all, Cotto's too big but would get UD'd by Marquez. But it's not something that any Marquez fan should be interested in.

I think this might be true but Cotto is the smallest one of the big guys Pacquiao faced. He certainly is smaller than Clottey and Margarito. This is a fight that I always found interesting but no one ever mentioned. Now, after Saturday night, the perception of some fans has changed and a fight like this could be interesting to them.

JMM is coming out of a KO win over an ATG. Cotto is coming off a beating from a JMW contender and getting shut out and almost stopped by an ATG.

sorry Cotto doesn't deserve it, he should fight Canelo
