Quit the talk of Broner-Burns for another few fights at least.

Burns isn't on that level yet and needs to be given good match-ups otherwise when that time comes, he'll be clueless.

Cant agree with that, If he isnt ready now he isnt going to be ready.

Problem is he beats a good opponent then goes back a step, then beats a good opponent and back again, whats the point?

The fight with Walsh was a joke in itself, how is that preparing him for the likes of Broner.

Saying that I think he steps up with the quality of opposition, I agree just get the fight on with Broner, or fight someone decent first then Broner and not Liam walsh.

He's not going to fight Broner in January and it won't happen for a year at least. Since his move to lightweight, he's only been progressing and hasn't really taken any big steps back like he did at SFW.

He should target someone like Beltran/Estrada for his next fight.

Burns is still avoiding Broner, or his management team is at least.

What is the point of a pointless January defense, when you get the biggest fight of your career in February on HBO against Adrien Broner?????

I find it funny the Burns fans excuse this. Broner was his mandatory and fight was being negotiated for November 2011. He immediately pulls out of negotiations and moves up to 135. Now Broner is coming off beating DeMarco, and Burns is coming off beating Mitchell, it'd be a unification for the RING title as well.

Burns is either not interested or getting terrible advice. Fighting bums for 1-2 fights, than a good/solid top 10 fighter, than more bums, and not fighting the best fighter in the division isn't going to get him anywhere.

Broner has wins over Ponce and DeMarco. Burns has wins over Martinez and Mitchell. Make it happen.

I agree, I can excuse him for not fighting Broner at SFW as he needed to move up which I think was the right thing to do, he took Katsidis as his first fight after that move, I thought then here we go Burns on the rampage.

But no, Moses....ok, Mitchell great....Walsh?....... WTF move onwards.

Now Broner has also moved up get it on....Burns is in his prime no better time he should be the stronger man.
