A fifth fight would provide an opportunity to tie it up for Marquez (2-2-1) and Pacquiao to redeem himself. Plus they would both make a ****load of money.

The fourth fight was the best one yet. Why not?

Unless Marquez demolish Pac again in 5th then we need to have a 6th lol! Anyways no other lucrative fights for either warriors currently so why not. Marquez deserves more money this time around though.

I believe a 5th fight is inevitable. But both deserve long vacations. A 5th fight would generate serious cash flow.

If I was JMM I would probably take one more fight in Mexico versus somebody that he would be favored to beat. Put on a show for his home fans then retire. He put everything into the last two fights with Pac I don't think he has much left mentally. The only motivation to me if I was Marquez is maybe avenging his loss to Mayweather. It would be pretty lucrative for him Marquez is going to be in high demand. In fact JMM if he fights anybody else is bound to be at the top of the card this could be the start of regular 20 million paydays for him.

I thought about this today.. I think 4 is good enough. this was supposed to seal the deal and Marquez did so with no way to argue otherwise. Say Pacquiao wins a 5th, what then? a 6th? Is this rivalry just gonna keep going until Pacquiao gets a convincing victory over Marquez?

we were looking for a convincing victory from one over the other.. we got it. It should be the end.

                  Forget a fifth fight.

Marquez thoroughly schooled him in the 3rd fight. Last Saturday he just KTFO him out. This was the "new and improved" manny. He can't get better in just a few months immediately after getting KTFO

its really up to them two, if both guys' hearts still want it, then who are we for that?

                    both guys aint chasing money.

if marquez will give pac the chance to redeem himself like pac has given him, why not?
thats totally respectable and I see marquez doing this. marquez aint no chicken with no pride or anything. if he sees or hears pacquiao requesting for it badly on TV , he would give in to it, no because of the money, but because of his principles.

if he retires, thats totally fine and great, but I just dont see him going that way..

Marquez should retire. He's 39 years old. He got what he's been wanting for so long, to defeat Manny Pacquiao, and he did it in dramatic fashion. It couldn't have happened any better for Marquez. He's 55 and 6 with 40 KOs and the number 2 P4P fighter in the world. Its the perfect time for him to walk away from the sport, on top. If he decides to do one more fight, it should be a rematch with Floyd Mayweather. Why not, one more shot at the best. Win, lose or draw, he can retire with millions more. There is no shame in losing to Floyd and it would have no impact on his already spectacular legacy.
