I agree.

He looks solid though, but I was stone-cold certain Kevin Mitchell was going to be a world champion.

Mitchell has the goods to be one, lacks the dedication/mind frame. He certainly possesses the skills as he has shown against Prescott and he's clearly too good for domestic level, top European class as it stands now.

He never looked solid defensively and what cost him the Katsidis fight was such a lazy defensive error, one which wasn't corrected in the Burns fight and ultimately cost him again. If he got his head down, worked on his defence and went back to his boxing - he'd spend the rest of his career a good contender.
