"43 yrs old"??? Aren't there any old fighters in England? This fight does nothing for the kid. He wins he fought a 43 yrs old man he looses and........................damn lost to this old man!!!! Who ever is matching this kid should be doing a much better job than this.
Can the kid fight? If he can't then ok! If he can its a dumb match up! Ray

NO MORE of these young fighters just jumping in with Top Veterans without proving themselves

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Groves potential and I think his style could be a NIGHTMARE for Froch because he is very quick and slick...But Groves need to be tested first

DeGale was a good test for him and he BARELY made it out of that one

I liked what I saw out of Groves in his last fight here in the US. He just needs to keep developing.

The exposure on the Cotto-Trout card would have done him good. They should have taken GBP's offer.

I don't know people are laughing at the prospect of Groves-Froch happening, when it does it'll be a special occasion, Froch's retirement from the ring. Groves certainly has the power, speed and countering to hurt and stop Froch but at this time is too inexperienced.

If I was Groves I'd invest 90% of my time on my defence, he's not fighting 6f5 250 lb behemoths and he gets caught way too much for it to be effective. His punch resistance does look granite either. I think they sparred and Groves caught Froch with a shot so Froch had to show him what's up and put a beating on him.

I see Groves-Froch happening in the next couple of years and it'll be a 'passing of the torch' moment.

Groves needs to stay well away from Abraham.

Abraham knocks Groves out in 6 rounds at this stage. He might have struggled at the elite level but he is no walkover as Groves seems to think.
