I don't believe in luck and I don't believe in lucky punches (Although, there are things called Blessings and Gods Will).

When you use your free will to make a conscious decision to do something, there's always going to be an end result, win or lose.

With that said, Marquez won the 4th bout, fair and square.

However, does a win or a loss make you better or worse than your opponent? No.

Both Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali have lost and have been beaten to a pulp and are still regarded as the greatest boxers of All-Time. Just because Jake Lamotta knocked Robinson out the box doesn't make him better P4P. And just because Frazier smoked Ali doesn't make him greater P4P either.

Therefore, we need to evaluate everything in its entirety before forming a fair and logical conclusion about ANYTHING.

fair assessment , but i see the formation of that perfect storm as luck. But thats the beauty of the sport! Discussions like this can go on and on! But the key is to learn and see the multitude of perspectives! I don't believe in luck at the level these guys are fighting at. These guys are professionals and are the elite in boxing. These guys know what they are doing. You can see the difference in caliber even throughout the night: Vazquez, Gamboa, and then Marquez-Pacquiao. It takes a lot of experience and talent to get to the level that these dudes are fighting at. They are elite. I laugh at people who were saying that it was a lucky punch. Marquez is a counter-puncher, and guess what punch knocked Pacquiao out, a counter-punch. It was a beautifully timed punch and Marquez was testing the waters with that punch throughout the fight. That is strategy, timing, and patience. Not luck, intelligence.

Yep because Timing is your brain calculating where a chin will be a spit second before it gets there , and its already fired the shot at that spot , and not a conscious thought , thinking is to slow its got to be instinct .
