He sure has no better defense, look at his face JMM's face is the best example when it comes to a fighter with no defense..pacquiao is faster, throws better combos, foot work is better..jmm is a good counter puncher but we all know the truth and the truth is that pac has not been living the life of a boxer for the last year or two,I'm not a pacquiao fan which is known around this place but the truth is if he wasn't for the distractions he would whoop marquez at any day of the week..

A pro boxer first priority is boxing, not talk shows, concerts, politics or being fanatical when it comes to religion..but we all know that those things came first for pac ...why not see things for what they are?? I give JMM props for beating him but at the same time but I also know that he fought a man who didn't live the life of a boxer for the last two years.
You got to be joking jmm is by far the better boxer may not have the speed or power as pac but when it comes to ring generalship, ring iq, boxing skills, and timing jmm is at another level and it was proven time and time again and tonight PAC got what he desverd a brutal ko loss.
You are just a butthurt troll like the rest of the trolls that are screaming 5th fight. Thier is no point jmm is way past his dam prime almost 40
So a lot of you just eat crow and accept the fact that jmm is the better fighter

          I'd rather see Pacquiao-Marquez 5 than Mayweather-Marquez 2

Would we even be talking about a 5th fight if it were Marquez on the ground last night out cold for over a minute? no we wouldn't.... This rivalry needed closure and a KO brought that closure. So if there is a 5th fight will it be right away? or does Pacquiao needs a couple of tune ups before and then fight Marquez again when he is 42 years old? Marquez should cash out with his next opponent and walk away win loose or draw. He had his career defining moment last night. The man is 40 years old and no matter how fit he looks father time is undefeated and can betray you at any time. IMHO they should both retire.

let's put it in a poll, please.

              Apparently there's a clamor for a 5th?

For the first time Marquez will be calling the shots, and the fight should do huge on ppv. It'll be hard to resist, he'd be making 5 times less vs Bradley or Rios.

Yeah he is calling the shots but unless this fight happens in May 2013 Marquez should not do it. Waiting for Manny to have a tune up we're talking about at least another 14-16 months before a 5th fight happens. Marquez will be close to 42 by then... no way, walk away. Yeah he would make less money vs Bradley or Rios but those could be walk away fights. Marquez is a smart guy and I don't think he would risk his health for a paycheck. Fighting at this level at the age of 42 is insane.

Also think about this, if Manny wins the 5th do we then have a 6th fight when Marquez is close to 45 years old? sounds crazy to me. This rivalry needed a closing moment. To me the moment had to be one of these two winning by a clear KNOCKOUT and that is what we got last night. The final chapter was written in round 42 and Marquez shocked the world.

He should enjoy this victory and have one more fight then walk away even if he is on top. He is getting way up there in age, at any moment things can turn for the worse and he should avoid that.

I don't want to see it again, but if Warquez wants to go at it one more time then I'm in.
