Wright continues to push for the mandatory, has no problem with Little Rock

Winky Wright is pushing the WBC to enforce their mandatory. The WBC has followed up by demanding the fight take place next and that a purse bid be held January 20th if nothing is arranged by then.

Now this is sort of old news, and it was assumed that they would wait anyways. Well today rumors are flying all over the place saying that Winky Wright has again confirmed he is enforcing his manditory position and has stated that he is willing to go to Little Rock, AK to make the fight happen and to get a good purse split. Ontop of this, it is being said that Felix Sturm has rejected Jermain Taylors offer of $750,000 for a fight.

*I think Wright taking this fight in Little Rock will gain him even more fans if it plays out that way.

how could you not have respect for a guy who tells tito he would fight in PR and tells taylor he will fight him in little rock. thats just smart, if he losses a close fight he can say it was bad scoreing. get a bigger payday in a rematch in vegas win that on UD gain more fans and be the best in his division. if taylor does not take this fight it will show that he is not a true champion

Winky's style is totally bad for Taylor. Taylor is aggressive enough, and skilled enough to get through that jab and when is in inside he can throw some nasty uppercuts (look at Joppy fight). Hopefully, he won't be the usual passive self, I really think Hopkins did something to him (hurt him bad in the first fight) and he won't fight as aggressive as he did before again.
