Agreed.. If JMM had not associated himself with a former steroid dealer there wouldn't be any su****ions. Now all of a sudden JMM has this one punch KO power from what looks like the very same types of punches he's caught Pacquiao with in past fights. It just raises questions, but I've had my su****ions about Pac too all of a sudden he is not as intense or explosive as he was 2 years ago and can't absorb punches that were no harder then the punches Cotto or Clottey caught him with. I think Manny may have also been juicing and had a guilty conscious and stopped.. Marquez had questioned Pacquiao unwillingness for OST's in the past so I think Marquez met fire with fire...

the punch that marquez knocked him out with is the single most effective punch for marquez throughout the entire rivalry. a right hand straight down the pipe as pacquiao is coming in.

even if that wasnt the case the punch was still clearly not a lucky punch, you could tell he timed pacquiao as he was coming in. even leaning to his left to get out of position for whatever punch pacquiao might have thrown. he walked pacquiao into the punch, how is that luck?

if you read the article you would know nacho was suprised bcuz he didnt think marquez had the power to knock him out cold like that with just one punch. who did? he said marquez is a good puncher but not a great puncher and hurts ppl by throwing accurate combinations, not by exploding with a single bomb.
        Nice post ,this ^^^

Come on man. Go ahead with that. Marquez has been one punch KO'n cats for YEARS who never been KO'd before. Diaz, Casamayor and how he out boxed and KO'd Katsidas.... he just timed Pac coming in, put all of his power into that counter shot. that punch probably would have dropped about anyone from 140/147 or at least stunned and dropped them hard. Non sense you are speaking right now.

Yeah, Marquez has never had any power but he has nearly identical record as Pacquiao!

And he's the advice of the most overrated mofo in recent memory who has nothing more to offer him outside of, "be more aggressive" or "put this guy on his ass", in a fight he was controlling by outboxing JMM. Pac is who he is. But I put a lot of what happen last night on Roach. It is well documented that he's incapable of making in-fight adjustments in fights where his fighters are being bested. Last night he was exposed for not being able to make the in-fight adjustment to have Pac take his foot off the gas and simply outbox JMM, which likely would have carried Pac to a convincing UD or even a late stoppage win.

From what I saw on the HBO nite time spots Juan was throwing a much harder right hand into the mitt than I'd ever seen him throw before! He had the mitt popping but he seemed to punch slightly threw it also to the point that the spotter wasn't in position to catch a hook in series.
This move he made on Manny was tried over & over in previous bouts but J uan never stayed in the "bucket" long enough he seemed just out of position to do it. The punch last night was almost LATE!!!
This was a big win for Juan and boxing at Mannys expense but Manny has nothing to cry about and I doubt he would. Manny has shown class throughout his career as far as I've seen.
Great job by Juan, and to his credit he stepped in with his counters instead of landing them at the end of the punch he came with power! Ray.
