In the past Pacquiao shook off body shots like they were nothing (except that wicked shot Margarito hit him with). But Marquez was landing bodyshots so hard that I sank lower in my chair when they landed. He wasn't ****ing around last night.

I thought last night was simply the result of marquez finally having the power to hurt pac as opposed to some newfound strategy thats never been implemented before.

The winging right that knocked pac down in the 3rd was the same punch marquez rocked him with in the 2nd rd of the 2nd fight. The knockout came from the same straight right that he's hit pac with dozens of times already because pac always brings down his hand after he jabs.

A combination of pac making the mistake of squaring up and marquez's added power made all the difference. Not some great dedication by marquez to working the body or pac being weak there.
