Did Mayweather fight last night ? I must have missed it.

If we gonna play triangles then what does Trout shutting out a guy Mayweather barely beat do for his legacy ?

Mayweather won 9 rounds against Miguel....

The Trout fight was much closer, Miguel was very much alive in that fight through 8 rounds.

If anything, he has made Mayweather's resume/legacy better.

Mayweather was widely criticized for fighting a lightweight at welterweight and because he beat him so decisively, no one thought Marquez belonged anywhere near the weight.

However, Marquez's last two fights there, he has looked world class.

Um, where to start? Floyd fought Marquez at a catchweight of 144, then showed up to the weight in at 146. So there goes that. Also, can you provide proof that Floyd was 160 on fight night? Not that I don't believe you but with a name like Pac-Boy i'm a little skeptical.

Yes Mayweather's legacy took a hit. I mean he completely schooled a guy who went to war with Pacquiao on 4 occasion and brutally KOed him in the last. Yeah Marquez performance can only hurt Mayweather's legacy.
