Oh definitely his roster is impressive. Some promoters would kill for that. But I think his association will be more harmful for the fighter than anything. 50 is all out for 50. He doesn't care about those fighters. Hopefully I'm wrong, but we'll see what happens once fighters start losing or not being as dedicated. I wish the fighters all the best because I love the sport of boxing, but 50 is like a cancer. Not disagreeing with you but you have to admit he has a hell of a roster for a guy who is just starting out as a promoter. Everyone else has to start with amateur shows and club fights. This guy starts out at the finish line.

when you look at the big picture, its not that impressive. You can't look at having Gamboa, without factoring in the $1.2 million price tag it took to get him. 50 didnt do anything special, nothing that anyone else with a deep wallet couldnt have done. He didnt build these fighters up, or discover them, or anything like that. He just bought them. Golden Boy or anyone else could have put up that same amount of money to buy Gamboa, but they didnt. Doesnt that make you wonder even just a little?

He's just making the point that you cannot box forever, and that Floyd should be looking to broaden his income base. I don't know how much Floyd makes (or spends) with TMT, but that could be sufficient income once he's no longer an active fighter -- not 30 million a year, I'm sure, but income.

The point about 50 cent using "actual" and "actually" in every sentence had me cracking up.

Mayweather Promotions does`nt only promote fights it promotes things outside of boxing,and Floyd also sold t-shirts Magazines and other things and plans to start a media website which he plans to profit through the advertising.

He only got that roster because they thought they would b working with floyd. He even used floyds tag. TMT. IF HE got that roster with no help then mad props. But he didnt. 50 looked a bit confused last night...he thought it was all about him for a minute with his grand debut that really ******. He tried to steal the show and looked as bad as he sounded in doing so. Maybe Bob Arum should drop himself down from a wire into the middle of the ring and do a little off key rap for his next promotion also.
