Think Manny regrets not taking that $40 million now

Hindsight is always 20/20 but do you think Manny regrets not taking Floyd's last offer now?
I never understood why he didn't, it would still be his biggest payday and Pac has endorsements that Floyd couldn't touch that could have been negotiated for higher sums.
Plus even if he lost no way he gets merced like he did last night and if it was close a rematch would have probably been in the cards by now.
If I am Pac's people I am pissed at Arum for pulling his BS stunts to stop the Floyd fight this morning.

        1. Pacquiao is going to make WAY more than that for a 5th fight with Marquez

        2. 40 million wasn't a real offer, it was just shyt talk by Arum and Mayweather

Its a shame that Manny couldn't take the Floyd fight, at least he would have been KO'd for a larger amount of money.

            No.

He's already worth multi-millions and probably got payed close to 30mil last night.

And Pac was worth more than 40mil at the time. He was as important as Mayweather interms of popularity and comparable PPV numbers.

Manny doesnt even regret running away from the 50/50 offer which would have got him closer to the 100 mill , because Floyd would have ended him then , business wise ducking Floyd was a smart thing to do , the smarties in Pacs camp know Floyd ****s him , they only wanted Floyd as Mannys last big cash in , Manny made a lot of money by not fighting Floyd .

Pacquiao had not only been outclassed by Marquez in the 3rd fight and lost a fight with Bradley, but he was dropped below 5th on the P4P lists, and wasn't the #1 anything for months.

Pacquiao was not making anywhere close to what Mayweather was KEEPING, and he wasn't generating close to the numbers Mayweather was .. which is why Arum wouldn't release those numbers.

If you think Pacquiao is pocketing $30 million then you are smoking that A-side meth. Emmanuel would be lucky to take home 15million after Arum and Golden Boy raid his pockets.

The $40 million was guaranteed to go into Pacquiao's pockets, not Arum's.

But that doesn't matter now, does it?

And I'll wager that a fifth fight between JMM and Pacquiao won't break any records. That's wishful thinking from fanboys and cult members.

If that were the case, a rematch with Bradley would have been ultra lucrative.

Less and less people care about Pacquiao because he doesn't perform the same as when he's fighting drain WWs.

                  And guess what?

People came out tonight to see if the old Pacquiao would show up, not for Marquez. This is the third fight in a row where Manny looked average. Coincidentally its the third fight in a row where Manny fought a smaller man who could box AND move at the same time.

No one needs to see confirmation of what happened tonight. It was more decisive than any of the previous 3 fights.

Let's see the numbers of how well this fight did. Another fight might do better than this one because of the KO, but people generally have already seen enough.

No I don't think so.The offer may not have been for real anyway. Fights that huge are not made between the two fighters in a quick phone call. Floyd would have made three times that much or more and that was not fair and Manny knew it. It's a matter of pride. Manny was not going to get short changed. He probably made over 25 million for his fight with Marquez so he is not hurting for money. The offer was a garbage offer and Manny did the right thing to turn it down in my opinion. If Floyd had made a reasonable offer in the proper way I am sure the fight would have happened and both fighters would have made a huge amount of money so it's Floyd's loss too. Marquez just killed the Pacquiao Mayweather fight but I don't think Pacquiao has any regrets about not taking Floyd's BS 40 million offer.
