        I'm not even carried away.

To do what he did at age 39, there is no doubt in my mind.

JCCSr. was popular, but he was never the master boxer Marquez is.

Salvador Sanchez never really proven anything because his career was cut short by his untimely death.

Marquez has done so much in devastating fashion with heart and sheer boxing brilliance.

He's the best boxer Mexico has ever produced.

No he didn't. He was an ATG before the bell to round one. What he did tonight was put himself higher in history and in the fight of the year, KO of the year, fighter of the year status. Beautiful Brutality from both fighters. UFC eat your heart out. Boxing is back on the map big time.

Agreed, JMM at 39 is better than ever, I've ranked him in the top 3 p4p for over 5 years now, he beats Manny 4 times imo. In 62 fights he's had only 1 legitimate loss and that's to Floyd at a weight he never fought at. I put him above Chavez and Sanchez any day and I would have said the same even b4 this knockout win

Marquez is a better boxer, a better technician than Chavez Sr. and if he wasn't as popular before, well he is now.
