        i dislocated my shoulder in a basketball game and kept playing...found out it was dislocated when i went to the hopital...

          You can dislocate your shoulder momentarily(your shoulder going back to place immediately) and you will be able to continue but the ligamment damage is done. You won really feel it that bad until the joint cools down. If it there is damage to any of the acromioclavicular (AC) joint, the pain is considerably more! It is possible!

            Oh ok...i just remember in lethal weapon when martin riggs dislocated his shoulder to get out of his straight jacket and he couldnt move his arm afterwards. Lol.
