Do you have a negative opinion of Margarito?

I was a big fan of Margarito & met him a couple of times (he used to occasionally play blackjack at a casino I worked at in San Diego) & he's a top bloke.......

BUT......

It does appear that he cheated & that is just horrible. Doing what he did can kill. Boxing is a dangerous sport without tampering with the gloves/wraps.

I voted he's a cheater and he's a scumbag. That doesn't mean he's exceptional though, we don't know how many of these top fighters are doping and getting this unfair advantage over other fighters like Margarito probably had over Cotto and Cintron.

They're a little harsh. I wouldn't call him a scumbag. Maybe a young man who followed the wrong advice. I didn't vote either because I don't want to call anyone a scumbag.

I'm indifferent towards him. He got caught and suffered two brutal beatings. No need to hold a lifetime grudge against him.

The guy without a doubt attempted to cheat during the Mosley fight, and likely did it during his earlier fights. Guy should have been banned from the sport for life and his record crossed out.

Fair enough. I can respect that.

But if someone feels (like I do) that he robbed Cotto of his prime years by being dirty then "scumbag" is actually quite tame.
