So you noticed nothing different about the tactics that Cotto used in each fight? the angles he used, not getting trapped against the ropes etc

Not saying Pedro Diaz was the only factor in him winning rematch but he definitely was one of them.

That's probably the only difference, other than Margs eye swelling after being hit.

I havent watched the fight in a while so Im on shaky ground here, but i swear Cotto was much harder to hit in general than the first fight? he kept spinning Marg forcing him to reset, and coming off at angles which didnt allow Marg to trap him on the ropes (again if i remember rightly).

As another poster said hes fought the p4p no1 and a much bigger younger guy in his last couple fights. Not to mention he gave Mayweather a hell of a test. Diaz is fine.

Nationalistic haters infesting this thread, as always it's the same jokers. How disgusting. Boxing needs more champs like Cotto.

How do we even know that Diaz is a great trainer? Cotto is his biggest claim to fame in the professional ranks.

Nah we could do with out!! Cotto was nothing special, his best win was against a past prime MOsely, In all his big fights he failed, good fighter at best, nothing special!!
