It's not Marquez's physique that will beat Manny or perhaps prove to be a detriment him in the fight. The build is just a byproduct of the functional type of training he did with Memo Heredia. Marquez's boxing skills are there and will stay there. But he likely added functional strength, explosive power and a higher anaerobic threshold. Tomorrow we will see if the training is successful and proves to be the tipping point between the two. Either way, we are looking at another very close fight barring a surprise KO by either man.

Fact is Manny will be coming in bigger. Marquez looks the same from the third fight and infact might even come to fight even lighter then he did in the third fight. Manny will be atleast 150 if not more. Its obvious why Manny force the fight to be at 147 against a light weight 40 year old.

But if you want to think Manny's c level performance against skilled fighters has more to do with Manny's focus or some other pacturd excuse, be my guest. What ever makes you sleep better at night
