Agreed.

We all love to see David slay Goliath, the underdog beat the favorite. It appeals to most people. It sells. But at the end of the day, the old saying, "All things being equal, a good big man will always beat a good little man," usually applies. You'd go broke always betting the other way.

The thing is, it's RARELY equal. That's why the other saying 'styles make fights' is actually much more realistic.

I will pick Prime Lewis over Prime Wlad with much more confidence than Prime Lewis over Prime Tyson.

Skill and technique can make up for a lot.

With similarly skilled fighters though it's usually the guy with the most physical advantages that wins.

You're confusing height with size. Despite being short, Tyson was massive.

Size doesn't mean height like some are saying. For example... Jcc jr and Martinez. Same class...not a huge height diff at all... But man is there a size difference. It's the same thing with Donaire. Would you expect Donaire to fight Pac right now?

Also using Pac as an example is the worst... Since he's not as small as advertised...and fought at weights mostly favorable to him so its a moot point.
