Earlier this week, BoxingScene.com ran an article in which Kell Brook (29-0, 19KOs) said that he planned on knocking out IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander (24-1, 13KOs). The two fighters square off in a Showtime televised fight on January 19th.

Alexander's manager and trainer Kevin Cunningham took exception to the undefeated welterweight contender's comments. He said that he Brook is a good fighter but isn't on the same level as his Alexander.

I think Brook is a lot more rounded of a fighter than Alexander. Better technique- turns his punches over better. I like his chances against Devon.

Honestly, Dude needs to zip it up in the ring, then talk. Not vice versa that's straight b.i.tch imo. Do your job then talk. I haven't been that impressed since the Urango KO which was spectacular... but he looks more comfortable at the weight he is in. wish him well, i hope this is a great fight!
