In the Golota fight, I without a doubt would have, there was 190 clinches and it's safe to say Ruiz caused the vast majority. I can't understand why a referee would allow such an obvious breach of the rules.

Ruiz does it because he's allowed to get away with it. Hugging/wrestling is specifically against the Queensbury rules, so the refs need to start giving him warnings and deducting points, that'll stop the annoying ****

The next fight he has, a an angry mob of refs should come into the ring and beat Ruiz into a coma, and then his wannabe bully trainer too, just for training guys to manhug.

I think Ruiz was really destined to be a fighter other than a boxing fighter. I guess he got side track for some reason. The faith are messing with our head.

I will, but I'll make it clear to him that holding/clinching will not be tolerated when I give instruction in his dressing room. On the actual fight, I will say that thing again after they were introduced. That way they cannot blame me for deducting a point after two warnings, and a clear warning that the next will be outright disqualification.

Oh, how I missed Mills Lane... hope he gets well soon.
