Wright over Trinidad. Gatti hasn't been the top of his division since he was a featherweight. Look at what De La Hoya did to him. A better poll would've been who more easily crushed Gatti, De La Hoya or Mayweather?

On the last HBO card before that, I think Toney vs. Ruiz, even Lampley and Roy Jones said Trinidad wasn't going to be able to break through Winky's defense. I mean, damn, when the HBO guys who are supposed to SELL the fight are telling you Tito will lose (especially Roy Jones who is the best commentator of all time), then you better not pick Tito.

The answer to that is Mayweather. Gatti landed a BUNCH of good shots on De La Hoya. He never touched Floyd.

Not to argue another subject entirely, but I would say that De La Hoya was more impressive just by walking through Gatti's shots and taking him out. One of the few times I can say that De La Hoya looked like he had balls in a fight. Mayweather's performance was for sure a boxing clinic and probably not anyone else but Mayweather could pull it off, but he really didn't need to play with Gatti to get him out of there and he knew it. I appreciate the fact that De La Hoya just got it over with, so I wouldn't miss any other show I might've wanted to watch.

It took Mayweather one extra round...it wasn't anything De La Hoya or Mayweather had to do with anyway. McGirt stopped in 6 whereas they stopped Gatti in the 5th in the DLH fight
