However unlikely it may seem, we could be talking about Martinez/Rosado after January 19th.

If GGG gets past Rosado, I think he should try and push for Geale or Chavez Jr. A guy in his position desperately needs to fight a relevant opponent.

GGG wants to fight Martinez but I don't blame Sergio for not taking that risky proposition being at this stage of his career.

Golovkin needs to fight Pirog first before he'd even be a worthy selling point for a fight with someone of Martinez's caliber.

Furthermore none of the guys at 154 seem willing to add on 6lbs to fight Martinez, so who else is there for him to face? Murray is a legit challenge for the aging Martinez who will be fighting for the first time since having knee surgery.

I don't see why people always belittle Sergio's opponets. The dude is doing the best he can with who is willing to face him.

You can't get that much leverage when negotiating with a top P4P fighter like Martinez. Martinez wanted to defend at home, and Hatton has gotten his man a shot. Fight should have legit officials etc, so all good IMO.
