Willie Limond will fight fellow Scot Eddie Doyle for the Commonwealth light-welterweight title after injury-hit Lee McAllister gave up the belt. The fight will be held in Glasgow on January 21 at the St Andrew's Sporting Club in order to mark its 40th anniversary.

The club opened in January 1973 with a British title fight between two of Scotland's greatest boxers, Ken Buchanan and Jim Watt.
