Man has had a great career and accomplished so much,his talent is just on another level it's ridiculous.

Absolutely. I think that raw skill/natural skill, and talent, Floyd is top 5 all time easily. I can only think of a few boxers who possessed the same types of pugilistic instincts Floyd does. He doesn't have to watch tape, or have a "gameplan," because he doesn't even have to think about boxing it just comes natural to him. And he'll just adapt, and adjust to whatever you do in the ring. His instincts, skill, talent are just scary. . . LIke he said once, he damn near knows what you're about to do a split second before you do it.

Defensively, he's probably the second greatest of all time.

My only criticism, and why I don't rank him top 5-10 is because of how inactive he's been - he simply hasn't managed to rack up 100-200 fights like a lot of the old school boxers did. That pretty much applies to all boxers of this modern fistic era, though.


Floyd gets a lot of hate now, but when he's long since retired in 10-20 years, cooler heads will prevail, and he'll be recognized for what he brought to the game.

I'd make Floyd an ATG on skill alone. Absolutely unreal watching him at times especially at the lower weights were his offence was nearly as good as his defence.
